Hitesh is the grandnephew of well-known music composer Sonik from the infamous Sonik-Omi pair. They composed hits like ‘Kanha re Kanha’, ‘Kaan mai Jhumka Chaal mai Thumka’ and much more in the 1960s and 1970s Hitesh Sonik won the Filmfare Award for Best Background Score and GIMA Award for Best Music Arranger and Programmer Before making it big in the industry, Hitesh worked under Vishal Bhardwaj as an assistant musician in 11 films Hitesh and Sunidhi tied the knot in April 2012. Before marriage, they were in courtship for 2 years. The duo had known each other for more than 15 years.
